Abstract: This study focuses on compliance performance of Malaysian public listed companies towards MFRS 7, MFRS 8, MFRS 12 and MFRS 13 with intended objectives as follows:

  1. Measuring the compliance performance;
  2. Profiling the compliance pattern;
  3. Determining the implication of the compliance;
  4. Identifying potential benefits and challenges of the compliance; and
  5. Assessing the initiatives undertaken in overcoming challenges while complying towards the standards.
